3D Projection System
A high lumen projector is equipped with a mirror system, consisting of two mirrors, that allows redirecting the projected image into almost any direction (only limited by the mechanics of the mirror system). We have designed and already partly developed a close-looped design and calibration tool for easy deployment of 360° peripheral displays onto arbitrary projection surfaces for pervasive applications. The system provides immediate feedback onto selected projectors, lenses, available connected projection areas, etc. considering hardware constraints and a given 3D environment model defining all available projection surfaces.
